Privacy and teh intarweb… Internet Explorer addons from AT&T.

Take a look at Privacy Bird. It’s software, for Internet Explorer (Windows only, of course). It: ”... automatically searches for privacy policies at every website you visit. You can tell the software about your privacy concerns, and it will tell you whether each site’s policies match your personal privacy preferences.”

Well, lets see. If you’re surfing with Windows, using Internet Explorer, and even with a recognized company logo, are willing to install some ‘addon’ you know little to nothing about – I don’t think the sites you visit are your biggest risk.. but maybe that’s just me.
