[Software] libMikMod 3.1.9a – DirectX, OS X & Cygwin ready!

Yep. As I noted in my post below: I dood it. I dood it!

This is a stripped down package based on libmikmod 3.1.9, with various patches to clean up bugs, and features the additions of drivers for Windows DirectSound (DirectX native), a Cygwin driver I cobbled together, a back/native port of Axel Wefers’ CoreAudio driver, and the stock OSS driver.

I’ve entirely destroyed any hope of autoconf, replacing all of the configuration with a GNU make compatible Makefile. I’ve stripped out quite a bit of the cruft, all the same – In essence, you’re left with the drivers and the loaders, multi-platform aware and functional (yay!).

I’ve tested it with Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Cygwin, and MacOS X, and found it to work perfectly. (Sorry, I haven’t made an AHI port – yet.)

This is available as a source tarball of 131k, via my software page.

(If you want a binary of my most recent MikMod player for Cygwin, let me know – I doubt it’s really worthwhile to offer as a package – the standard player will build against this library with minimal effort under Cygwin. ;))
