Following this MacWorld report that Virtual PC is not G5 compatible, and won’t be ready until late 2004, and a subsequent release from FWB that RealPC is never going to see the light of day under OS X; I started looking for semi-viable alternatives.

As it is, Bochs is functional, if not horribly slow, should you need Windows 95 support, but what if you just want to play some old games?

My port of DOSBox, here, may be your answer. I’ve opted to use the current CVS tree due to the stangant nature of the last ‘release’, 0.58, and would love to get reports of your success or issues via my forums.
