I’m moving all of my stuff to the DarwinPorts hierarchy. It’s rather similar to the FreeBSD port system, of which I have grown rather familiar with over the years; has it’s own /opt heirarchy whoch Apple’s installations (hopefully) won’t break – and makes building packages a breeze.
All future MacOS X packages will be wrapped within the DarwinPorts system, and packages will be created with it.
I’ve made a few more trivial hacks to the forums, adding a few things not standard in phpBB, and the software page has now been integrated into a much more powerful system, seperate from Rollator’s primary DB. Most links, including offsite, should forward to the new system, and the old entry has been recreated as a placeholder to forward to the new URL.
