What’s this? Another web server? Don’t run away yet! I’ve ported this small and secure webserver from NetBSD to OSX. What’s so special about it? It supports CGI/1.1, HTTP/0.9-1.1, ~Sites (public_html), directory file list generation (not via external application), virtual hosting, as well as IP-based service bindings. It speaks IPv6 (as well as IPv4). Oh, yeah, the webserver with full Altivec optimization is only about 45K!
I’ve added support for ”~Sites” under OSX (akin to Apple’s ‘Personal Web Sharing’, created a few skeletal cgi programs, cleaned up the source tree, makefiles, optimizations, and, well, broke down and made it work. ;)
You’ll find the source tree for this port under software.
