Yaaay, AppleCare!

Many moons ago, I purchased AppleCare for my laptop. I have been nothing but impressed with their service.

There has been a long-standing issue with the network, which they seem to have resoved at the same tiem they’ve repared the askew hinges for the second time. My machine is missing a bit of paint, but they seem to have fixed it properly, I hope (without testing the network or sleep issues).

I am on my second keyboard, second LCD, second case, second airport, and second airport base station. I really feel that this system is a lemon with as often as it blows parts, but Apple opts to fix it at their own expense, and ship it back as soon as possible.

I’m shocked at their turnabout. Sadly, the last work order only fixed PART of the issue, but they had my hinges repaired within a day. It went out, had a day for repairs, and it was back. Of course, since the network was still broken, I had then open a new case and it went right back. Here it is, Friday, and it’s been to Apple and back.

Apple, I love you. Please stop berating your techs and give them ample time to repair all issues. I’d not mind waiting an extra day for adequate testing and proper repair. My machine SHOULD have been fixed the first time. This is the second time I’ve had to send it back due to short-sightedness in the process.
