I know it seems that I’ve been pushing off the 1.4 release of Rollator. The truth is, I’ve been busy with quite a few ‘under the hood additions’.
My File Manager has undergone a complete rewrite.
It already has the ability to compute the local MD5 checksum (against one stored within the SQL database), and notify the user that the file may have been modified. It touts three tiers of software (Supported, Legacy, and No Longer Supported), and as of this morning, MIME filetype support. No longer shall files be blindly sent as octet-stream!
I’m going to implement “download numerics”, which will record the timestamp of the last download, as well as the number of downloads the file has had (since implementation), so it is easier for the CMS manager to realize which files are quite active, and which might be slighted for removal.
