Someone was going through all of their old VHS cassettes of their childhood, and now I’m rather frightened – the commercials were encoded and distributed to share their glory with our tormented synapses that haven’t been tickled in years.
Here’s a tiny mosaic of the 80s, just for you! From left to right, top to bottom: Big League Chew, Bonkers, Crispy Critters, General Mills Donutz Cerreal, Freshen Up Gum (The gum that goes squirt!), and Chef Boyardee’s Smurf pasta.
So far, I’ve recognized almost all of these, with the exception of “The Burger King and Mr. Shake.”, which was broadcast in 1980. I would have been about three. ;)
