[Music] Intellivision cover of “Secret Agent Man”, now with DC Block.

Joe Zbiciak, a fellow Intellivision afficionado, converted a MIDI to AY8914, appending a fairly simple wrapper program, specifically to play this music on an Intellivision, or an Intellivision emulator.

I’ve slightly modified the audio driver code within his own Intellivision emulator, jzintv, adding a “DC Block” component so the harsh waves generated are not quite as square, but attempt to resemble a normal peak and fall – sounding more realistic, and certainly much more dynamic to the non-purist.

This [1.6M] is the result of his cover of “Secret Agent Man” playing through my modified code. Note that some samples are “missing”, and others sound ‘off key’ due to the lack of ECS computer emulation which is expected, but not tested, by the wrapper code, and I just haven’t implemented it, yet! Still sounds pretty cool, huh? (This modified driver code is still very alpha, and is not integrated into my port of jzintv. Sorry.)
