It's hard to believe that Razor1911 is 40 years old.

It's even harder to believe that we've collectively been around that long. When they were formed, I was lucky enough to clack around on an offline (obviously) Apple ][ series in school. It wasn't for several more years that we'd end up with a bizarre Apple /// unit when the business Mom worked for closed. It wasn't compatible, but they did have an emulator that let most programs work - that fit within the limits of 64k. We called Apple to try to find a joystick (these days I'd just ask for a schematic), and they said the game port pinout was different and it would probably cost $100. This was around 1987, so that sort of money was at least the month's food bill for three people. Didn't happen.

Anyway, I never really followed them too closely until the early 90s when I got into the Demoscene. They were well known for being capable across platforms, and there was always a little grey area between the sceners and the warez. I was always in it for the magic one could do on the hardware at the time- I shunned people who dared to waste these precious machines to play games. Never did get into them.

Anyway, enough of the "me" blather. Razor1911 released this demo at Revision 2026, and it's a banger!
