I found my old USB powered MP3 player from the early 2000s. It got thrown in with some random car parts.

Out of boredom, I plugged it into a wall-wart. It started right up! The 4GB onboard memory and the SD card are amazingly still functional. Audio is passable despite the antenna possibly being less than a 2" diameter.

I don't think I've ever listened to Telefon Tel Aviv on a handheld radio before, but the asthetic is real. Plus, I have a radio station within probably 10 feet of my outlet. Christian Slater would be proud.
